Mother's Morning Out and Preschool Program

Mission
The preschool is a non-profit mission outreach program of Mouzon United Methodist Church. The program exists to provide highest quality care and education for young children in an atmosphere of Christian love and nurturing.

The preschool seeks to serve a diverse group of parents of varying socioeconomic, racial and ethnic backgrounds, and to provide an environment of learning, growth and joy for children.

Director's Observations:

Mouzon's Weekday program is such a wonderful community of loving families. These children are an absolute delight to watch as they grow and learn in this nurturing environment. The teachers are all highly qualified professionals who bring enthusiasm, Christian faith, and love to the children. They are constantly working to improve the quality of the time they spend with our children. We offer the children the opportunity to explore their world thru music, art, group activities, books, role-playing, computer and field trips.  Special activities include learning experiences in music, science, and Spanish.

Our program is blessed to have the involvement of active parents. Our parents volunteer to lead Chapel Time once a week with our children. When in need of supply items for our classes like tissues or yogurt cups for crafts, we just ask and it is done. Our parents are the BEST!

Keeping Jesus close,
Ms. Cone

Meet our Director

Susan Cone is a proud mother of three children, ages  17, 14, and 11.
She is a long-time member of Mouzon UMC and has always been active in our Children's Ministry. In 1996, Judy was part of the Weekday Children's Ministry committee which started our preschool
program. Judy believes that all children are precious gifts from God and welcomes the opportunity to nurture their growth - spiritually, physically, emotionally, and intellectually. Judy welcomes your calls
with questions and looks forward to meeting you to tour our classrooms. You may contact her at (704)525-1190

Time to re-link your
Harris-Teeter VIC Card!

The next time you're at Harris-Teeter, ask the cashier to re-link your VIC card to school #4255. It only takes a second, doesn't cost you anything, and best of all, our school receives 2% of certain purchases you make. This program is a wonderful way for schools to earn extra money to put back into the classrooms.

Note: Did you know you can "link" to more than one school? It's TRUE, you can!

Cartridge World at ParkTowne Village(Beside Total Wine)
Please bring us your empty printer cartridges. These are recycled by Cartridge World and our program receives between $1-4 per cartridge. By recycling the cartridges, we are helping to reduce the annual disposal of more than 1 billion empty cartridges in our landfills, where each cartridge can take more than 450 years to decompose. Yikes!
