MOUZON YOUTH INFO:
The youth will meet tonight. The new time frame is from
5:30-7:30pm. Also..the youth would like you to know that
they still have some car wash tickets available for sale if
interested. |

A GATHERING OF LAITY/CONVERSATION
WITH BISHOP LARRY GOODPASTER:
On Monday, March 15th,
6:30pm, Bishop Larry Goodpaster will be hosting a seminar
here at Mouzon for all laity. Mouzon leaders are urged to
attend. The topics will include “The Power 3 Goals”,
Apportionments, Fiscal Responsibility, Mission and Vision of
the church. |

YOUTH DINNERS:
Support our
fantastic youth by providing a light supper on Sunday
evenings. The sign-up sheet is posted across from the
volunteer office. |

4th
& 5th GRADE CHILDREN
are collecting canned goods
for the Loaves and Fishes Food drive. Please place your
canned goods in the container in the entry area. They will
be collecting food through March 15th. |

CRAFT AND FELLOWSHIP
10am in Flynn Hall. Bring a craft and come for fellowship. |

ATTENTION MOUZON MOVERS:
The Movers will be traveling
to Keppel Auditorium at Catawba College in Salisbury on
Saturday, March 13th to see and hear the HARRY
JAMES ORCHESTRA. This is a one day trip. The cost is
$78.00 per person. Make checks payable to Golden
Opportunities Travel. The church needs
to know ASAP if you are planning to go. |

LOAVES AND FISHES BABY FOOD & 100% JUICE COLLECTION:
The children and
preschool Mouzon will be collecting baby food and juice
throughout the month of February. Please help us fill up
the “kitchen sink” in the donut lobby! (no jars please).

CALLING THOSE WITH A GIFT TO LOVE
LITTLE KIDS (one hour per
month): Children’s
Council wants to rejuvenate Godly Play, but we need
storytellers and doorkeepers. Please contact the church if
you are willing to help bring back to life this wonderful
ministry to our littlest disciples. |

CONFIRMATION CLASS:
Dr. Sigmon wants very much to plan and lead a Confirmation
Class for our youth who have not yet joined Mouzon as
members. The usual age for such a class is “around” grade
6, or about age 12. As I’ve examined the roll, I note the
“presence” of youth near that age, at that age and just
beyond that age who have not become confirmands. Please
contact me immediately if you have or know youth who should
be involved in this learning and growing experience. In
every case, they can be a part of the learning group and
will be given personal choice near the end of the experience
regarding making a commitment to membership. I need to hear
from you right away. |

AN INVITATION:
If you are looking for a SS
class, Mouzon invites you to come check this out. They meet
each Sunday morning @ 9:45am in room 209. Any adult is
welcome. |

PRAYER REQUESTS:
Those listed in the bulletin, our shut-ins, and all those
who have lost a loved one, or their job, or have needs at
this time of the year.

VOLUNTEER NEEDED:
Mouzon is in need of someone
to take over the publishing of the newslettereach month.
Volunteers do the printing and folding at the church
office. If you are interested, contact the church office.
If
you have an article for the newsletter for this month,
either send it to brenda@mouzonumc.org. |

EASTER LILY ORDER:
If you would like to place an Easter Lily in our Sanctuary
this Easter, please order as indicated below. Orders
must be received no later than Sunday, March 28th.
A dedicated listing will be in the bulletin Easter
Sunday; Lilies may be removed after the 11am service.
The price is $10.50 for each lily. Please place your
order in the offering plate or mail to the church, along
with your check made payable to Mouzon UMC, so that it will
be received no later than March 285th.
