AN
INVITATION TO PRAY…Every Wednesday from 12 noon –
12:30pm, and each Sunday morning from 9:15-9:45am, you are
invited to join others from your Mouzon family in the
sanctuary to pray specifically for our church. This is a
wonderful opportunity to pray and seek God’s will and
direction for Mouzon. |

GODLY PLAY IS BACK!!! Godly
Play will be offered on the 2nd & 4th
Sundays of each month. After the Children’s Message during
the worship service, children ages 3-2nd grade
are invited to attend this time of special worship located
in the Godly Play room. A reminder…children have the
opportunity to bring an offering to each Godly Play. The
offering will be collected and donated to missions. |

REMINDER THAT A NURSERY IS
AVAILABLE for
infants – 3years old. |

ATTENTION MOUZON MOVERS:
The day trip to Smith
Mountain Lake, VA on September 10th will be here
before we know it. If you are planning to go, please be in
the Woodlawn parking lot by 7:30am. |

USED
EYEGLASSES NEEDED:
The
Urban Ministries is asking for used eyeglasses. Can be
prescription or not. You can place then in the container on
the table in the narthex. |

PRAYER REQUESTS:
Those listed in the bulletin, our shut-ins, and
for the people in Haiti and
Chile, and all those who have lost a loved one, or their
job, or have needs at this time of the year.

VOLUNTEER NEEDED:
Mouzon is in need of someone
to take over the publishing of the newsletter each month.
Volunteers do the printing and folding at the church
office. If you are interested, contact the church office.
If
you have an article for the newsletter for this month,
either send it to brenda@mouzonumc.org. |
