TONIGHT is Third Sunday Night
Fellowship: Cajun
cookin’? Not really, but Julie, Stacy and Lesley are going
to try their luck at red beans and rice for the 3rd
Sunday dinner. Please come to hear about their mission trip
to Mississippi as well to have fun and fellowship! Bring
your favorite dish to share (like cornbread, salads, can
anyone make collards?). Remember…TONIGHT at 6:00pm in
Flynn Hall. Donations will be accepted and the money
will go to UMCOR. Also some special New Orleans goodies
will be raffled off! |

The UMW Bazaar Meeting
scheduled
for TODAY has been postponed. A new date will be announced
shortly. Please continue to gather ideas and suggestions. |

Church Council Mtg.:
There
will be a Church Council and Charge Conference meeting on
TONIGHT at 5pm. |

Stephen Ministry:
TONIGHT @ 6:15pm, there will
be overview meeting for those who have signed up for the
Stephen Ministry. The meeting will be in the Library.
Classes will begin on June 8th and will meet the
2nd and 4th Sunday of each month. The
time is 6:15pm. |

Church Council Members: Please
register for the May 31 seminar on Conflict Transformation
and Vision Clarification. The seminar will begin at 9am and
conclude by 3pm. Registration is needed as lunches and
materials must be ordered ahead of time. Sign up with Brenda
or in Commons Area on sign up sheet. There will be a small
cost for lunch and to defray some of the expenses. The
leader will be Cheryl Greenwood from Huntersville. |

some moving chores on either Tuesday evening, May 27th
, or in the morning of May 30th, please let

June 1st Celebration!
One service at 10am on
Sunday, June 1st. Join us as we celebrate
educators in our community and church. Please invite your
children’s teachers and other educators that you may have in
your life! Following this special service, there will be a
covered dish “picnic” lunch. Don’t forget to bring your
favorite dish to share and make extra for our visitors!
Indoor and outdoor seating will be available (please bring
blankets or chairs if planning to sit outside). Parking may
be congested, so please park on the side streets if you are
able. Special parking will be set aside for visitors and
our “Senior” members have preference in the parking lots.
