Church Family Life

At Mouzon, Church Family Life ministries are those that provide fellowship and opportunities for spiritual growth for all generation, all ages and stages, throughout the year. This year's activities include a wintertime Country Night, a Spring retreat, men's softball and basketball, an Ice Cream Social, quarterly brunch during the Sunday school hour, and trail adventures.

            Small Group Ministry

 Connection Groups.. What is a Connection Group?   

This year at Mouzon we are forming Small Group ministries called Connection Groups. This ministry will meet in fellow member’s homes at times which are convenient with members of the group. The group formations are generally based on demographics of Mouzon parishioners and persons who may not attend Mouzon and may not be connected to a church or a Small Group Ministry, but would be interested in a small group; “Connection” ministry Group.

Each group will share in bible studies, pray for and with one another, hold one another accountable as Disciples of Christ and just keep connected one with another. Small group ministries are very valuable to growing vibrant churches. John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, understood the value and created small group ministries in the church..

Connection Groups, pray together, study scripture together, laugh together, hold one another to the Discipleship standard and fellowship together in order to strengthen their relationships with Christ.
